The Krewe of Possibilities is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to be seen, heard, supported, celebrated, and included as active members of their communities.
Born from a Dream of Belonging
The Krewe of Possibilities was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every person, regardless of ability, deserves to experience the joy, magic, and community spirit of Mardi Gras and beyond. What began as a small group of indivduals seeking connection to help grow into a thriving nonprofit serving across northwest Louisiana.
Our founders saw a gap — families with disabilities were often left on the sidelines of community celebrations. They set out to change that, building an organization where adaptive participation, peer support, and genuine inclusion aren't afterthoughts but the foundation of everything we do.
Today, the Krewe of Possibilities hosts, galas, educational programs, and community events that welcome everyone. We believe that when people with disabilities are fully included, the whole community is enriched.
